Standing on the balcony of the Osprey room might satisfy a lingering childhood fantasy of living in a treehouse.
Walked through those redwood doors and up to our little retreat, Smuggler’s Cove, and felt like we were in heaven on earth.
The rooms are comfy and lush, the staff is warm and welcoming, the food is four stars, and the amenities are many and much appreciated. We are your biggest fans!
We would like to live there forever, if possible.
We had a perfect stay, and both feel it was the very best way to usher my child bride into my decade. We had thought about going to Paris, but were glad we'd decided on something closer, where our faulty French wouldn't be tested. And driving glorious 128 is a lot nicer than economy on United! The Inn, which we loved under its original ownership, is even better than it was. And Chef Peg is a treasure. We hadn't realized that the Pelican gave us a ringside seat on the busy birdfeeders, and at no extra cost.
